"Like" a content page
Hi,
is it so that is not possible to "like" a content page? (when browsing the page, not by going to the page library)
For example, I find a really cool page in my intranet that I want to share with my colleagues...
The only way I found was to copy and paste the link into my newsfeed, and retype the title - it feels stupid.
The "intuitive" option = the "Share" link on top right corner, it is for the whole site, not the page...Half Scheidl

There are other two options with which you can use to share with your colleagues
1. Share & Track from Content (Via Email)
2. Tags & Notes (Via Profile Page)
these are available in the content page menu as shown below Raghavendra Shanbhag | Blog: http://moss-solutions.blogspot.com

I'd like to have the "Like" option in a similar fashion to rating control, but there is no "SPLikeControl" lol
And the Rating control renders the same, regardless of the rating settings (Likes or Rating).Half Scheidl

Another thing: I'm talking about an average user, with visitor permissions.Half Scheidl

You can navigate to list settings and changing the rating control to I Like This Feature. But again you have to navigate to the list either to rate or like it. As per my understanding there is no
I Like It button that can be displayed on the Content Page, though we might achieve it by some customization.
